Biography
Susan Berger is a freelance journalist who contributes frequently to the Chicago Tribune. She has also written for the New York Times, Health Magazine and Today's Chicago Woman.
From 1998 to 2003 she observed Black firsthand - if from a distance - as a reporter for the Glenview-Illinois based Pioneer Press chain. Pioneer Press was owned by Hollinger International, and continues to be part of the Sun Times News Group.
